Produced by the Beckwith-Wiedemann Children's Foundation, this DVD is an excellent resource for families affected by Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome, and for the medical professionals who are treating BWS patients.

This DVD features interviews with prominent medical personnel involved with the treatment and research of BWS.

Topics covered by the medical professionals include the history of BWS, the symptoms of BWS, screening protocols and methods, the treatment and management of BWS and long term prognosis.

The DVD also features touching and informative interviews with parents and children affected by BWS.  These interviews are invaluable to ‘new’ and ’old’  BWS parents alike.  These parents and children have been, and are going, through the same challenges that all BWS parents face.

There is also a section which might best be described as inspirational.  It is a wonderful piece, intermingling interviews with parents and  doctors with a specially commissioned soundtrack and video.

The message is quite clear and beautifully delivered - That you are not alone. And that with correct management and treatment, your child has every chance to grow into a happy, healthy, normal adult.

The production values of this DVD are excellent.  The information provided makes it a ‘must have’ resource for both BWS parents, and medical professionals alike.
